How do you acquire your music?
Make sure your disc jockey uses legally acquired music. There are many sources available for music. Some of them are legal, while others are not. You may be held liable if you hire a disc jockey that uses illegally acquired music. Common sources for legally acquired music are retail music stores, promotional music companies, etc. If the disc jockey company you are considering runs multiple systems, make sure that they have a legal music library for each system. Some multi-op companies illegally copy (usually in CDR, .mp3 or other digital format) music for each system from a single master.
