What is Karaoke? It is a singing craze that started in Asia and has migrated to the United States. It is fun, unpredictable and bold. At karaoke parties people sing songs as words roll across a monitor. Sometimes you know the songs, other times you don't. It is great fun for all.
Digital Jockey's Karaoke services are incredible! You have the choice of songs on VCD, on CDG (the traditional karaoke discs), on DVD (the newest and most versatile karaoke discs) or on all three. Our karaoke system can handle up to 8 microphones. You have the option to sing with your friends or to sing solo. The benefit of multiple mics is an even balance of the voices (have you ever sung in a group with one mic and heard the person in the middle the loudest and could barely hear others). The system also has a video and audio cueing system to minimize breaks between songs in the party.
We do accept requests so don't feel like you need to sing songs that are unfamiliar. We can also lower the vocals on regular Compact Discs live for you (the only disadvantage is no words appear on the screen).
A popular karaoke option for those who do not want to sing (or hear their friends sing) for hours is a half-hour karaoke break during a regular three-hour dance. We are flexible according to your needs and wants.
We currently offer English Karaoke and have connections for Cantonese and Mandarin Karaoke.
